SSG Christian Teague is a native Texan. Before joining the Soldiers’ Chorus in 2019, he served as Director of Worship Arts at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Ft. Worth, Texas and performed with the Dallas Opera. While working with The Dallas Opera from 2012 to 2019, SSG Teague performed for more than 8,000 children in 150 performances of “Pepito,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “The Bremen Town Musicians,” and “The Elixir of Love” as an Educating Artist throughout North Texas. SSG Teague also performed principal, comprimario, and chorus roles in over 80 mainstage performances with the Dallas Opera, including “Aida,” “Turandot,” “The Barber of Seville,” “Carmen,” “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Salome,” “Everest,” “La Bohéme,” “Iolanta,” “Tosca,” “Manon,” “Samson et Dalila,” “La Traviata,” “Don Giovanni,” “Flying Dutchman,” and “Manon Lescot.” He attended The American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and with Maestro Alexander Rom.
